以下のとおり、約2年ぶりに写真展を開催します。
今回は新たなシリーズとして製作した「Sea Surface」の作品を10点展示します。
数は少なめですが、大きなサイズの作品が多いので見応えがあると思います。
村上尚之写真展 -Sea Surface-
会期：2016年11月22日〜12月4日
場所：NADAR （http://nadar.jp）※月曜休廊
時間：12時〜19時 ※最終日は16時終了
「Sea Surface」は、海面に生じるフォルムに注目したモノクロ写真のシリーズです。
被写体は海面ですが、そこに感じた宇宙的なイメージを起点にして、逆にこうした海面の光景に似たものが広大な宇宙空間のどこか、あるいは肉眼では見えないようなミクロの世界にも存在しているのではないかとイマジネーションを掻き立てられたことが製作のきっかけとなっています。
少し意識的にスケール感覚を麻痺させてご覧いただけると、何か違った世界が見えてくるかもしれません。

From November 22, I am going to hold photo exhibition for the first time in two years.
This time, there will be exhibited my works entitled ‘Sea Surface’.

Time: noon – 7pm (Last day, end at 4pm)
‘Sea Surface’ is a series of monochrome photographs focused to waves of seas.
On the sea surface, there are many moments that feels the cosmos.
These captured forms look like faraway galaxies or like micro-world.
This feeling lets me stir my imagination. And that is why I started working this series.
